Please read the following installation instructions for the Mobile Exhibition Guide (M.E.G.) for Java-based mobile phones through carefully before you start the installation.
Requirements:
A Java-based terminal that offers support for Java-MIDlets according to the MIDP 2.0, CLDC 1.1 specification.
Due to the large number of available models, we are unable to offer a complete list of supported devices.
Installation steps:
1. Download the file meg.zip to your PC and unpack the files meg.jar and meg.jad.
Check that your mobile phone or Pocket PC has sufficient memory to execute the program. The required free memory is between 6 MB and 8 MB.
Copy the files meg.jar, and meg.jad to your mobile terminal.
After the file transfer, you will find the file meg.jar in the message inbox or in the file download folder, depending on the device model.
The application is installed on your device by selecting these files.
Follow the instructions of the device manufacturer.
Launching the information software:
- Locate the entry “eInfo Mobile” using the Start menu of your mobile device (entry “Programs”).
- Actuating this program icon will launch the Start menu of the M.E.G. program.
- Once you have carried out this procedure, you can use the mobile information software.
