Sporting diversity in the presentation areas

Once again in 2011 the motto that applies for FSB is "Watch and join in". In terms of sport there were lots of offers in the numerous presentation areas.

In this connection, the FIBA ( International Basketball Federation) has already presented for the 9th time at FSB. In Hall 11.1 the "FIBA - World of Basketball" has presented live matches, celebrity matches, autograph sessions and experts' discussions. Other highlights in this hall were also include an ice skating rink and a demo pool for aqua fitness.

In Hall 11.3, in contrast, the "Soccer and more!" synthetic turf pitch along with a small paddle-tennis pitch awaited the sports enthusiasts.

Not least, apart from playground and leisure equipment and appliances for people to try out, the amenity area in Hall 3.2 was, for the first time, also offering skating fans the "Skateparc for all" on which the professionals have been performing their tricks and stunts.

SIX to EIGHT Party

Things have been a little less sporty at the SIX to EIGHT Party. But on the evening of the first day of the fair, everyone - the exhibitors, visitors and the press - have been called on to join in. For the first time, they were invited to the Happy Hour taking place all around the Water Boulevard between the halls 10 and 11 - fully in keeping with the motto "Be part of it and celebrate".
