Security at major sports events

This year’s FSB will also focus for the first time on the topic of security infrastructure.

Major sports events generate a whole series of specific legal problems that the general public is increasingly becoming aware of. This public awareness is largely due to the increasing professionalization and worldwide marketing of sports. That applies in particular to issues related to security regulations. But the construction of large sports arenas, for example, also generates problems associated with planning regulations. The challenges associated with communication between the parties involved are important components of a security concept.

The following partners will be discussing this theme at FSB 2017:
SIkomFAN (NRW Police Force/Fraunhofer Institute/University of Würzburg), UEFA/FIFA/DFB, German Association of Towns and Municipalities (DStGB), Sportnetzwerk.FSB
