FSB 2019 – the meeting place for the public space, sports and leisure facilities industry

From 5 to 8 November 2019, FSB, the International Trade Fair for Public Space, Sports and Leisure Facilities, will showcase the latest innovations, products, services and trends for the global industry. As the world’s most important marketplace for sports and leisure facilities, FSB gives all the market players a superb overview of new technologies, product innovations, process optimisations and visionary concepts, making it a key source of inspiration for the design of tomorrow’s urban living environments. The international trade fair combines new ideas with the tried and tested and, alongside the trade fair itself, offers an international congress and workshop programme that opens up a source of additional, valuable information for exhibitors and trade visitors. With just over 13 months to go before FSB next opens its doors, domestic and international demand is already high, with confirmed registrations and requests for preferred stand positions and extensions. It’s time for potential exhibitors to secure key benefits with early registration until 31 January 2019. Early bookers can reserve their stand areas and the best locations in the exhibition hall now.

The industry’s leading international trade fair duo – aquanale, the International Trade Fair for Sauna, Pool, Ambience, and FSB, the International Trade Fair for Public Space, Sports and Leisure Facilities – is strengthening its core segments and thereby setting a course for a successful future. Starting in 2019, the FSB pool area will be integrated into the aquanale and concentrated under one roof. This is the systematic further development of the themed worlds concept introduced in 2013.

FSB will be staged in Halls 7, 9 and 10 of the Cologne fair grounds. Presented in Hall 7, directly adjacent to the swimming pool themed areas at the co-located fair aquanale, the public space/playground equipment area is an important and complementary segment for operators of public swimming and leisure pool facilities. Halls 9 and 10 will focus on leisure facilities, sport and sports centre construction. The layout of the halls for the trade fair duo of FSB and aquanale will again be based on the successful “themed halls” concept, ensuring that synergies are exploited even better and that additional business networks can be established at both national and international level. This represents significant added value for the national and international trade visitors who travel to Cologne.
