Exiting topics, different dialogue partners and interesting information - all this have been presented at the Synthetic Turf FORUM at FSB 2009!
Synthetic turf is not a fashion trend. It remains the No. 1 growth segment in sport facility construction. However, synthetic turf is not only being used in football stadiums. Synthetic turf also provides benefits in landscape architecture.
In keeping with this focus, Hall 11.3 of the International Trade Fair for Amenity Areas, Sports and Pool Facilities was mostly turned into a synthetic turf hall. This means that FSB 2009 have been staging the world's largest synthetic turf exhibition. FSB's new partner was the European Synthetic Turf Organisation (ESTO), who along with its members and associated members have presented synthetic turfs of the 21st century, as well as organised the Synthetic Turf Forum in cooperation with the International Association for Sports and Leisure Facilities (IAKS).
At the Forum in Hall 11.3 of the world's biggest trade fair for this attractive and versatile floor covering, visitors have found information during all three trade fair days about the planning, construction and maintenance of synthetic turfs. This forum was dedicated to address new topics, including production techniques, quality standards and market potential, construction and operation costs, the FIFA Quality Concept and the benefits of synthetic turf for women's, girls' and youth football.
