An initiative for young ice hockey players and mass sports in Germany
Information and discussion event
We’re facing a renovation backlog! All of our ambitious programmes for young athletes can be realized only if our ice rinks, most of which are between 30 and 50 years old, are either renovated or replaced with new buildings. The focus is mainly on smaller rinks with a maximum spectator capacity of 1,500 places rather than on the big event halls.
Therefore, we invited representatives of ice hockey clubs, sports associations, political bodies, construction companies from Germany and abroad, funders, project developers and other interested parties to discuss the related possibilities and opportunities.
- The wishes, expectations and concerns of many ice hockey clubs concerning their ice rinks
- The challenges associated with the new construction, renovation and operation of small ice rinks
- Funding models
- Organization concepts and management
