Stadiums as drivers of social and environmental sustainability

Stadiums and arenas are evolving into versatile, sustainable, and socially engaged urban centers. A vision of stadiums as everyday community hubs will be presented, while strategies for revitalizing historic soccer stadiums strike a balance between modern requirements and the preservation of historical heritage. Regenerative design approaches that integrate blue and green infrastructure will be highlighted, thereby improving urban ecosystems and climate resilience.
