Special exhibition area: Urban Oasis

The Boulevard was hosted a special Urban Oasis exhibition area, created in collaboration with the Federation of German Landscape Architects (BDLA) and various exhibitors. Companies presented exhibits in this space that brought the theme of water in the urban environment to life. In conjunction with aquanale’s Private Oasis, this exhibition area illustrated how water, shading and green concepts can offer innovative ways to respond to climate change – for active cities that support a good quality of life and sustainable gardens that promote relaxation and health.

NEW LIFE: fit for a circular future

Experienced the advantages of recycling used tyres firsthand at the NEW LIFE stand. On a Circular Economy Trail, NEW LIFE partners demonstrated how used tyres could be turned into high-quality sports and fitness products – clearly presented using exhibits and video clips. The stand floor was laid with granulated rubber, allowing visitors to experience the sustainable products for themselves. Guided tours were also available, offering inspiring insights into the circular economy and showcasing sustainable innovations in the sports and leisure industry.

Special exhibit: the Inclusion Trail

Visitors were invited to come and discover the meaning of inclusion for themselves at the special Inclusion Trail event in the STADTundRAUM themed area. In this space, located right next to the planerFORUM, visitors were able to see what it looked like when sports and leisure facilities were designed to be inclusive, allowing people with different abilities to participate as equals. The Inclusion Trail gave visitors the opportunity to try out various exercise modules for themselves under realistic conditions.
