Finture, a Finnish family-owned company known for combining functionality, urban aesthetics and sustainability, will showcase its Street Unit skatepark concept at FSB 2025 in Cologne. As part of the curated Finnish design & action pavilion, Finture invites visitors to discover how expert-designed, long-lasting modular skate elements can enhance active public spaces.
Live skate demos by professionals
In Hall 10.1, visitors can watch professional skateboarders demonstrate Street Unit elements in action. The skate area is not open for public use, but provides a unique opportunity to see how the modular system performs in real conditions.
The setup is designed by Janne Saario, a renowned skatepark architect and former Finnish skateboarding champion. His deep understanding of the sport, both as a rider and designer, ensures that each element delivers a professional riding experience while supporting urban functionality and safety.
About Street Unit
Street Unit is a modular system of robust and reconfigurable skate elements, ideal for both permanent installations and temporary setups at events or seasonal locations. The concept responds to growing urban demand for inclusive and low-threshold sports environments.
Each element is manufactured in Finland using extremely durable materials designed to endure heavy public use and changing weather. Street Unit products comply with the new EU consumer product safety regulations, and risk documentation is available for public sector procurement.
