DOSB supported trade fair for public space, sports and leisure facilities (FSB)
The German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB) once again supported Trade Fair for Public spaces, Sports and Leisure Facilities (FSB), which took place in Halls 6, 9 and 10.1 at Koelnmesse from October 26-29, 2021.
In order to provide exhibitors and visitors with a safe trade fair experience in today's world, Koelnmesse implemented a trade fair concept that also implements the current requirements of the Corona Protection Ordinance of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia for international trade fair practice - with the AHA+L+C rules, i.e. with distance, hygiene, everyday masks + ventilation + Corona app, digital routing and visitor guidance, as well as stand construction concepts that comply with the distance rules, etc. Further information on Koelnmesse's #B-Safe4business concept.
The DOSB action program at the leading international trade fair for the sports space industry focused on selected trade events. For example, on October 28, 2021, the DOSB invited the sports facility officers of the state sports associations (LSB) to an annual exchange of experiences and a visit to the trade fair. The experts of the LSB's had, among other things, inform and exchange information about current developments, experiences and perspectives in the sports facility sector.
As a cooperation partner of IAKS Germany, the DOSB also supported the First German Sports Facilities Day, which focused primarily on the future of sports facilities and spaces in Germany. This broad-based conference format took place on Oct. 28, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Europa Saal at Koelnmesse. The event focused on the current sports facility situation and its further development in Germany from the perspective of sports organizations, planning and science.
