Germany needs new ice rinks - more real than ever
An initiative for young ice hockey players and mass sports in Germany
Information and discussion event
According to official investigations, there is a billion-dollar backlog of renovations at sports facilities throughout Germany. This also applies to smaller ice rinks, many of which are between 30 and 50 years old. Only through extensive renovations or new buildings can future-oriented solutions be created as a basis for ice sports.
Following the first event organised by DEB and EHV NRW as part of FSB 2017 with more than 160 guests, we wanted to send out another signal here on 5 November 2019 and at the same time take even greater account of the interests of the associations. We therefore invited representatives of ice hockey clubs, sports associations, politics, the construction industry, financiers, project developers and other interested parties from Germany and abroad to discuss opportunities and chances.
