Statements about FSB 2025

For us as a German company, FSB is like an in-house exhibition. We have been attending since the first FSB 50 years ago – and that will remain the case in the future. We will of course be participating again at the next FSB in 2027, with an adapted but equally strong presence. The position of our stand remains strategically crucial in order to underline our role as industry leader.

Tobias Owegeser
Managing Director, SMG Sportplatzmaschinenbau GmbH

n our view, FSB was a complete success and remains the most important trade fair in the sports and playground sector for us. We found the thematic focus of the fair to be very successful. The German playground industry in particular made a strong overall impression and showcased innovative products and concepts. We were delighted with the enthusiastic response of the trade audience to our new products, which has strengthened our commitment! We were particularly impressed by the number and quality of national and international visitors. Throughout the trade fair, we had very good conceptual and strategic discussions with existing partners and new customers from over 30 countries.

Managing Director, Eurotramp-Trampoline Kurt Hack GmbH

The FSB 2025 was a truly successful fair – Hall 9 was vibrant, the atmosphere excellent, and the professional exchange inspiring. The clear distinction between national and international manufacturers gave structure and made networking easier. The FSB demonstrates that our industry is about much more than products – it’s about collaboration, ideas, and the future of play and public space. For 2027, I hope the fair continues this path and gives even more room to forward-thinking, content-driven presentations.

Birthe Mallach-Mlynczak
Strategic management and creative direction, ESF Emsland Spiel- und Freizeitgeräte GmbH & Co. KG

Once again, FSB 2025 proved to be the key meeting point for our industry – full of inspiring conversations, exciting projects, and a strong sense of community. We were delighted to showcase, with our brands Polytan, Melos, FormaTurf, and SYNLawn, how diverse and sustainable today’s sports and leisure surfaces can be. The personal exchange was incredibly valuable – and we’re already looking forward to FSB 2027.

Tobias Müller
Director of Marketing & Communications, Polytan GmbH

Our conclusion on this year's FSB is thoroughly positive: after years of upheaval and pandemic-related restrictions, the trade fair has regained its usual strength and professional depth. Visitor feedback was extremely positive, and the discussions were high-quality and inspiring. There was particularly strong interest from local authorities and planning offices on the last two days of the fair. The first two days of the fair had a more international flavour. The extensive supporting programme was successful and appealing to visitors, but it was very extensive. It would be desirable to streamline the programme items and, if necessary, coordinate them better in order to specifically combine exchanges and visitor flows.

Maike Söltl
Head of Marketing, Conradi+Kaiser GmbH

FSB 2025 was once again a clear indicator of the industry for us. Particularly positive: significantly more qualified discussions with municipal decision-makers – the direct exchange on investments, funding projects and sustainable materials reached a new level. There was also strong momentum from our international distributors: ‘Cologne is the place to be.’ There is room for optimisation in terms of organisationally restricted technology and service provider bookings. Our conclusion: FSB 2025 confirms that quality, safety and durability continue to count. We are going into the follow-up phase with full momentum. After the trade fair is before the trade fair.

Managing Director, Kaiser & Kühne Freizeitgeräte GmbH

Statements about FSB 2023
REGUPOL has been an FSB exhibitor from the very beginning. This year's FSB exceeded our expectations. Both the quality of the visitors and the quantity were excellent. The topic of sustainability now also plays a major role in our sports floors, fitness floors, indoor climbing floors and running tracks. Since sustainability is part of our DNA, we are very pleased about this megatrend. Koelnmesse has recognised this and supported it through various campaigns.

Niels Pöppel
Managing Director REGUPOL Germany GmbH & Co. KG

The Zamboni Company waited to debut the new machine until FSB 2023 knowing that it would be the appropriate time to show the new machine with European features to the FSB Trade Fair audience. We have had a tremendous response to the ZX5 and look forward to our presence at FSB 2025.

Natalie Bennett
Marketing Coordinator, Zamboni Company USA

FSB is and remains one of the most important industry meetings for us. It enables us to present our expertise in the field of sports field surfaces to an international trade audience. We were happy to come to Cologne again this year and were able to make valuable contacts, meet customers and partners and expand our position as an innovation leader.

Tobias Müller
Director Marketing / PR EMEA, Polytan GmbH

FSB 2023 far exceeded our expectations. There was a large number of existing international customers in particular and also very promising potential new customers at the stand. The entire trade fair process was highly professional; from my point of view, the FSB team succeeded in creating an outstanding, forward-looking trade fair concept.
